About
Tony and Michael, together with producer and sound engineer Chris, created Popcorn Tribunal. We have ranked as high as #22 in the Movie Reviews category on Apple Podcasts. Popcorn Tribunal regularly reaches an audience of thousands with each episode, loaded with off-the-cuff humor, film journalism, and history from a team of film buffs, gaming nerds, and all around pop culture gurus. In 2023, Jeffrey joined the staff and has provided excellent written reviews for the website.

The backstory
Tyler and Tony had been friends for years, but being from different generations (Tyler was in his 20s, and Tony in his 40s), they had very different opinions on movies. This led to many a heated, yet hilarious discussion over a poured glass of whiskey, which they decided one day would make for a fun podcast to record and release.
Joining forces with sound engineer extraordinaire Chris, their crisp, clear recordings of fun movie-filled content rapidly climbed in popularity on all podcasting platforms, peaking so far at #22 on the iTunes movie reviews category (#22 out of 4,580). They still produce the same fun, energetic, off-the-cuff comedy while delivering the content most film buffs want to hear, every episode.
Tyler took a step back in 2023 to start a family, and frequent guest contributor Michael joined the cast full time. His addition in the fifth season gave listeners a boost, and more interactivity. After Season 6, Michael had to take a step back from production, and our current cohost, Kevin took over. Kevin brings a jovial manner, and lots of comedy, but overall a wealth of knowledge about movies. We love having him on board.
